Following a brief closure, the American School of Guadalajara resumed operations under the ownership and directorship of Emil Alfred Krafft, who purchased the school at Miss Walsh's request. In 1939, due to growing student enrollment, the school relocated to a more spacious building at Avenida La Paz #275. Initially, the school maintained separate English and Spanish programs, with English classes held in the morning and Spanish classes in the afternoon. The institution moved again in 1943 to Avenida Vallarta #1901. However, in 1946, after Mr. Krafft's passing, his sister Gretchen Vazquez temporarily managed the school before it was sold to J.M. Dominguez, who oversaw its operations for two years.
